December 10, 2012 | Tinhorn Creek Staff
On February 1, 2013 we will be adding a new wine to our Oldfield Series line-up, but we are not telling you what it is just yet. We thought it would be more fun to let you try and guess what it is.
If you guess correctly you will be entered to win 2 bottles of the new Oldfield Series Wine before it is released plus a stay in our Guest House.
You can submit your entry 3 different ways starting December 11, 2012.
1. Submit your guess in the comments below.
2. Visit our Facebook Page and submit your guess through the contest page.
3. On Twitter tweet "I think the new #OldfieldSeries wine is ________."
Now the rules (they apply to all of the above entry methods):
- You can guess as many times as you like, but only 1 guess per day.
- Multiple guesses for the same wine will only be counted once per entry method.
- If you are immediate family of a Tinhorn Creek employee sorry you are not eligible to enter.
- You must be 19 years of age.
- We can only ship to Canadian addresses, so if you live outside of Canada you can still win, but you must have a Canadian address we can ship to.
- Contest ends January 10, 2013. Winner will be announced January 15, 2013.

My guess is a nice crisp sparkling white wine. Chardonnay would be the varietal.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.
Best,
Keith.

Since you are the leading producer and proponent of single varietal Cabernet franc, the stunning 2010 just being listed as top 100 of 2012 in Vancouver magazine, I am going to guess tinhorn creek old field series Cabernet franc. Your current vintage of my fave bc cab franc is 2010 so the old field series is probably 2009 vintage possibly 08 . That would be heavenly. Go Tinhorn!!!
