Estate grown and handcrafted, The Creek symbolizes a relentless pursuit of excellence, aspiring to bring forth an elegant, luscious, and modern wine that reflects both place and time. After farming our vineyards for 23 years and making wines from our Diamondback Vineyard on Black Sage Bench and Tinhorn Creek Vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench, we feel the incremental improvements we made over time have helped coax the best out of our humble vineyards. This process has resulted in birth of our flagship wine – The Creek.
Throughout the growing season, winemakers often find a golden spot – or two – in the vineyard that tempts creativity and allows for experimentation and to push the boundaries. The Oldfield Series wines and new Oldfield Reserve wines are our premium tier wines that truly showcase what best defines that vintage.
With some of the best fruit in the south Okanagan, we let the grapes express themselves. The philosophy behind our varietal tier has always been 'best of grape'. A 100% pure expression of each varietal from our Estate vineyards which provide the grapes to craft wines that reflect both place and time.
We’re big music fans. Coincidentally, we have a large natural amphitheater on site. Since we like to host the occasional get-together, it seems fairly logical to use this space in support of great Canadian bands. Kick off your shoes and dance with us this summer.

"Benefiting from an exceptional Southern Okanagan Valley vintage for Bordeaux varieties and fine craftsmanship, the 2014 edition of the Oldfield Reserve (formally, Oldfield Series) is their best yet. Sourced from their Black Sage Bench vineyard and blended with 15% Cabernet Franc, this already 3 year old Merlot offers an expressive nose of maturing aromas: blue and red fruits, Nutella, black raspberry seeds and caramelized vanilla. The feminine notes continue on the fine tannin and brambly, yet, creamy palate where ripe blackberry meets spicy oak in a symbiotic symphony of flavour. The finish is long and smooth with a touch of lingering menthol. Ready to go now. Drink 2017-2021" - 92 points, Liam Carrier, Icon Wines, August 2017.
"This is quite a ripper in that magical $30 middle ground with power to impress as much as many peers two times the price" - Michael Godel, Wine Align, Aug 2016

"Both of the winery’s Pinot Noirs clearly have benefitted from the Burgundian detail that has gone into making them. This wine is dark in color, with a glorious aroma of cherry and toasty oak. The texture is every so silky; and the wine delivers flavours of cherries and red berries modified by a toasty, savoury spice. The wine benefitted greatly from a year in oak and three years in bottle before release. The finish is long. Bottom line: an elegant wine with good aging potential" - John Schreiner, May 2016.
"Deep in colour for a Pinot, this wine begins with aromas of cherries and savoury herbs. Silky on the palate, the wine delivers flavours of cherry and strawberry with a suggestion of black tea on the finish. The wine delivers a lot of complexity for the price" - John Schreiner, May 2016.
"Tart berries and red cherry dominate the nose and are layered with red plum, tobacco, rainforest floor, cigar box and dried violets as it evolves in the glass. Tangy in the mouth - quite a bit of restraint here. Earthy flavours roll into red plum, cocoa, tealeaf and cherry, with spice trailing on a lengthy finish. Very good posture and balance" - Wine Diva, August 2016.
