100% of this unique Pinot Gris was fermented and aged in barrels, normally little or no oak is used to create this wine. However, we decided to experiment with ageing in oak barrels, we aged this wine for 18 months in barrel. The wine exhibits the typical notes of a ripe Pinot Gris, peach, pineapple, and tropical fruit, but it also presents subtle hints of vanilla, tea leaves, and chamomile. Distinctive and elegant, this is a wine that ventures beyond the mainstream.
